The Bunn-O-Matic Corporation -- A History of Innovation and Commitment
The Bunn-O-Matic Corporation was founded in 1957 by George Bunn, who innovated and perfected the fluted commercial paper coffee filter, and, later, the pourover coffee brewer. The name BUNN® has since become synonymous with exceptional quality in commercial and home beverage equipment.
Based in Springfield, Illinois, USA, the Bunn-O-Matic Corporation sells its retail and commercial beverage equipment through distributors worldwide, with plants and warehouses in Illinois, Iowa, the New York metro area, and California, as well as in Canada, Mexico and the United Kingdom. BUNN’s quality beverage equipment includes coffee brewers and grinders; liquid coffee dispensers, iced tea brewers; cappuccino, granita, and juice machines; super-automatic espresso systems; precise temperature water systems; water quality systems and paper filters.
A leader in innovation, BUNN has introduced groundbreaking new products in each of the last five decades. These include the flat-bottomed fluted paper coffee filter, pourover coffee brewer, commercial quality home drip coffee brewer, commercial iced tea brewer, grinder/brewer interface, electronic microprocessor control with pulse brew, Soft Heat® coffee serving system, SplashGard®funnel, BrewWISE® brewing system, reversing auger frozen drink system and a coffee pod brewer (My Café) that brews both coffee and tea.
